Ever heard of a white lie, Mrs. Jensen? No sugar-coating, just a non-answer. “That black vest looks good, Roy.”

In our society, if you’re not starved you’re fat. It’s a pretty poor value system, but it’s fed to us constantly.

@janinabarnesLogging everything I eat, measuring and logging exercise, recording weight every day. Two years in, I lost 135 pounds and kept it off. Luck to your husband, it can be done.

It’s not always in the diet kids. The key is in the lifestyle and medical changes. Hubby had sleep apnea for years and didn’t want to go for the test. Finally a doctor told him the key to his weight loss. Apparently the hormone that helps burn fat is only made when you sleep. Poor guy had tried diet, exercise and starvation to no avail. We had changed our lifestyle with no results. Since he got his C-pap machine, he has lost over 120lbs in a year. I wish the best of luck to all those still fighting the good fight.

my success I first accepted I needed to do something about it . For me It was a road bike bicycle . Two books helped Bike your butt off and ride your way lean. It wasn’t easy at first and there are still a lot of challenges I am a little past my halfway point. I do eat less NO DIET I eat real food and enjoy what I eat. It is hard to start I felt like S@@t after going a few blocks at first but it got easier to go further. I am not offering miracles but a path to being alive. And please or please ignore Dr OZ and his ike.

This is true. This works if you have the fat burning hormone in your system. Without good quality sleep, this hormone is not produced in the body. Without adequate amounts of the hormone, fat is not burned at a high enough rate.
