I imagine this applies to all political campaigns. However if its intended for something specific and local I’m not clued in enough to get it

The mud slinging, from both sides, is disgusting, but it’s what a culture of ignorance accepts, if not demands. And the ’toon is right, over the decades there are many of those honest and hard working people who “turned the other check” (not cheek) once in office.

“If that happens the Democrats have nothing to Campaign with. Wendy Davis comes to mind most recently.”What a load of crap! I see loads of mudslinging and negative campaigning by both sides. If the candidates don’t do it themselves, they have “unaffiliated” PACs do it for them. I’ll go so far as to say that most of the political campaigning I’ve been exposed to in the last couple of years were negative attacks made by said “unaffiliated” PACs.
