The usual BS in the house. Try to vote so you can’t be responsible for anything and get re-elected. Is that they way we really want to run the country? Send in a fresh team that may actually want to work on our problems. Vote.
Responsibility for the use of troops lies with the President. It is pathetic for the cartoonist to try to place blame on Congress for not doing something which is outside of its Constitutional scope. I am sure that if Congress did try to get involved in micromanaging our soldiers Mr. Rogers would be among the first to decry their attempt to usurp the President’s constitutional prerogatives.
