“Agree! Drill Here Drill 6 years ago! Drill Now!”As I recall, the chant was ‘Drill, baby, drill!’ The chanting quieted down after the gulf oil spill. More drilling means more oil spills and disasters to extract a product that will just get sold on the international market. Besides, god forbid we even attempt to go beyond fossil fuels. If the US had remained committed to conservation and energy independence since the 1970s oil crisis, the US just might have at least curbed its addiction by now.
“And it is a fact that the not in my back yard and not near a coast that directly led to the not being able to cap it fast enough.”It was corporate greed, corruption, and malfeasance that lead to the well blowing out in the first place and you want them to drill even more. Drill, baby, drill and damn the consequences!

Is it OK to hate the Saudi’s ? They have done so much damage to the world over. The Royal Family is despised throughout the Arabian peninsula.

If the US wants to continue feeding its oil addiction, it will do the bidding of those who have the oil.
