That guy in the skirt should be half the size of the Queen. At least they were smart enough not to bite the hand that’s fed them.

AH yes the Huffington post that bastion of “unbiased” articles yes they are a good source…..if you don’t want to see anything that disagrees with the left at all. tell you what lets compare graduation rates and literacy levels pick any city in a red state like Idaho and compare to a blue bastion like say Detroit that is as blue as you can get which one looks smarter there?

having lived in a blue state my entire life of plus 80 years,I can tell you the reason why some on the left might consider blue states more self-supporting than the red states….they tax the death out of persons and businesses and drive the productive citizens out of state while running huge under-funded pensions for state union workers—- including teachers!

The Scots actually are fine with the queen. Who they hate is Margaret Thatcher and her Tory party, who really did a lot of damage to Scotland, jacking up taxes on the poor in order to lower them on the rich, which killed the economy there, much as it has been doing here. The Scots haven’t been able to stand conservatives, for good reason, ever since. .As for disgusted’s diatribe, the blue states ARE more self-supporting than red states. It’s not whether they “consider” themselves more self-supporting. It’s fact, measured in dollars taken from the Federal treasuries. Red states rely much more heavily on the federal government than blue states to prop up the lousy economies and larger populations of hungry and poor people that derive from conservative government policy.

I saw Queen Elizabeth II up close in Boston, 1976. She was quite an elegant guest, with then-mayor Kevin White, and showed a friendly, charming smile in the town that started all the fuss and expense 200 years earlier. I think she deserves a more respectful drawing than this.
