It’s pretty difficult, if not impossible, to govern a Middle East country without getting some blood on your hands. At least Assad doesn’t kill Christians. Varvel drinks the cool-aid provided by Obama and McCain.
When the human race becomes truly human, and stops asking “God” to defend and promote their most horrible actions, which of course have nothing to do with “God”, but other humans’ baser instincts supported by their various “religions”, man-made religions, maybe having nothing but friends, instead of enemies, would prevail?
