Fair tax for one isn’t fair for all. We pay @ 13%. Our income is small. Corporations (businesses) probably pay twice that…their income is HUGE. A flat tax would be the most fair tax…but it will never happen in my lifetime

It may be okay to the DNC, but I can pretty much guarantee it is no more okay to Democratic voters than it is to Republican voters.
I could also easily say that it’s okay with Republicans if they are large contributors to the RNC. I would be equally wrong.
So, what we’re really saying is that as long as enough politicians of any stripe get dollars, it’s okay with them. The fact that it’s not okay with voters of any stripe is not that important to either the bribers or the bribed. So, maybe we ought to stop blindly supporting “our party, right or wrong”, do our homework, and vote in our interests instead of being lazy and perpetuating the same garbage.
Okay, the righties are all now complaining because the “king” is doing exactly what their right-wing legislators, and administrations wrote into laws and regulations to protect all those warm-blooded “persons” known as “corporations”???

The answer is probably a graduated luxury tax, up to, say, 50% on a yacht or a Lamborghini… and import taxes on luxury items as well.
