Like the rough character in the old Hastings Steel-vent piston ring ads: “Tough but oh so gentle.”

A policeman accidentally arrested a judge who had dressed as a convict for a costume party. That cop learned never to book a judge by his cover.

@dzw….with full support from Racist Eric Holder’s DOJ which called off an almost-won court case nailing the Black Panthers for VOTE SUPPRESSION OF WHITES….-Holder swore an oath to enforce US Laws and be the Top Lawman of the US Justice/Court/legal system….but he went to Ferguson, MO, as “a black man who understands (Whitey’s) oppressive Police”….thereby sabotaging the Rule of Law and the rights of Officer Darren Wilson….prejudging on the basis of skin color, and also subverting his position as #1 Law Enforcer.

Hiding cops faces/identities in the field is a bad thing to do, period, masks, armor, etc, bad policing. It’s just like bloggers: hide the identity, and the most moronic actions/statements, are free to run, especially the most brutal, sadistic, and ignorant, or plain stupid.

Cops on the street dressed more like bomb squad members, are dangerous to the public they’re supposed to “serve”, AND themselves. Violent reactions to “incidents” just lead to more escalation.

“Riots” are best controlled before they BECOME riots. Demonstrations are a “right” under our Constitution, but rioting, and inciting violence/riot, is not. Removing the “instigators” is usually possible if the cops, AND the actual demonstrators who don’t WANT trouble, cooperate with each other early on. It used to be the most basic principle of riot control, and it WORKS.
