I agree with the sentiment, now let’s get to it.

If he reacts the way the Bushies did to 9/11, we’ll attack Egypt

I don’t see any of these rhinestone cowboys flocking to any recruitment offices, either.

It’s shows how tough you are to show force from the get-go, while assuming the result without any planning. Who has time to think? React first. Race to the front with guns blasting and trillions at the ready. The real fun comes when you see the real result and compare it to your fantasy.

Would be even nicer if the R’s who didn’t care when Bush took triple the vacation time that Obama has taken had their facts straight.

Interesting concept Go after the leaders instead of the citizens and foot-soldiers It might provide an extra incentive to work things out if prime ministers, kings, caliphs and presidents knew assassins drones and bombers would be after them immediately after starting a military action.

First you wanted him to send them weapons to fight Assad, now you want him to kill them. Which is it, cons?

The cartoon is wrong. If Obama’s statement is interpreted as “cutting off the head of ISIS”….words do not faze mass murderers.-http://www.nationaljournal.com/defense/why-washington-should-declare-war-on-isis-20140820-printed 6 pages landscape.I quote from page 5 in part:“…ISIS today represents a direct and growing threat to the U.S. It has attracted an estimated 12,000 foreign fighters to its black banner flying over Syrian and Iraqi territory, including hundreds of Europeans and Americans who can travel freely with Western passports. It has a bigger sanctuary, far more money, and is more indiscriminately murderous than Al Qaeda was on 9/10/01. ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has assured anyone who will listen that he eventually intends to direct his jihad at the U.S., telling the U.S. soldiers who released him from prison in 2009, “I’ll see you in New York.”-“….Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the outgoing director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, told me that Islamic extremist groups that have adopted Al Qaeda’s nihilistic ideology are stronger and more threatening today than before 9/11.”…“in 2004, there were 21 total Islamic terrorist groups spread out in 18 countries. Today, there are 41 Islamic terrorist groups spread out in 24 countries”…said Flynn.-IMO our leaders who swore an oath to hold office have a #1 duty to protect Americans. Maybe citizens better start demanding they do their duty!

Almost every country has their “nut group” of rebels with various causes, From “God’s Army” in Africa, to ricin folks in Japan, to TEA and JBS here, the level of physical violence does change from place to place, but the damage from social violence, when lies become facts, and hatred is massive, and those most ready to blame hate on others, when THEY are the ones with the most groundless anger, it gets interestinger and interestinger.

In July, a raid (secret that now the whistle has been blown) to try to rescue captives in Syria found them gone when the troops arrived, ISIS has it’s spies and intelligence service too.. It ain’t a simple thing, but sorry righties, our lefty golfer HAS STILL had more success than George and Dick and their crew.

Massive killing is not always the answer, but chickenhawks, Likud, ISIL, Contras, and dozens of others prefer terror to solutions. Which, starting these insurgents off on a toot usually starts with some chickenhawk moron killing someone’s kids, and/or stealing their land. It’s just history…

“Your partisan hatemongering aside we did go to war in Luxembourg, under Nazi occupation as it was at the time.”We didn’t go to war against Luxembourg. We fought there against the Germans. If you’re going post a nastily snide reply to Newenglandah’s post, you could at least reply to his actual text.
