How is that different from trying to sue and impeach the President?? The Perry case is stronger because he was using his office to oust a elected official. Basically trying to override the election process. It also looks like he was doing it to make her investigation of his shenanigans go away. The DWI was just a convenient excuse. In Illinois we have elected officials who are convicted criminals and manage to get re-elected. Did he say mission accomplished in his veto speech?
Yes, Benson as usual doesn’t know (or care about) the facts of the case. She should a bit of time researching before she spends time drawing. It was not Democrats who indicted Perry. It was Texans, including many Republicans. The members of the grand jury are being quite outspoken about how upset they are that Perry is trying to make this look political. The man is a bully, broke Texas law, and should face the consequences in court. :Of course, Perry blamed the whole thing on President Obama, who has literally nothing to do with it, so he’s just as deceptive as Lisa Benson. But it’s safe to bet that Republicans will fall for any lie, no matter how egregious, as long as it’s about Obama.
“Apparently you know nothing about law.”Well, then this would be the perfect opportunity to explain exactly why Perry defunding an elected official’s department because she refused to resign isn’t an overreach of his gubernatorial authority.
Doesn’t matter. The indictment was brought by the political hacks in Travis county, the same ones who brought politically-motivated indictments against Kay Bailey Hutchison and Tom Delay, both of which failed miserably. One of the grand jury members is a Democrat political activist.Quite a number of liberal pundits and politicians have said the whole indictment is sketchy and baseless. It’s nothing but a scummy political attempt by desperate Dems to discredit someone they see (legitimately) as a political threat. It will come to nothing, and the Dems will look like fools. Again.
And you obviously missed the fact that “Texans for Public Justice” is a George Soros-funded political organization, which pretty much destroys any political credibility they might’ve had. You’re obviously ignoring the fact that the Travis County Dems have a long history of politically-motivated prosecution attempts, all of which have come to zilch, zip, nada. The Perry indictment is just one more t*rd thrown by a bunch of lefty scumbags who are trying to discredit Gov. Perry as a possible presidential candidate.Do a little research of your own, read something besides the Daily Kossack before calling someone else a liar.

I guess she missed the part where it was a Republican Judge and Prosecutor that conducted the grand jury.

It is a witch hunt, but as a Republican from Texas, we don’t have our Governor do much more than open Supermarkets.

Yeah, gotta watch out for those nine-year-old girls with their teddy bears. Those bears could be full of plutonium!
Does Louie Gohmert know about this?

Grand juries will indict a ham sandwich if they’re led to. This is the mud bucket challenge.
