MARY WORTH: I knew this conversation was going to go on forever and Mary doesn’t seem to be too forgiving in the first panel.
Phantom – The truck probably contains something of value. They would be driving fast because they know authorities will be pursuing them. Hijacking of a military truck would be big news (that’s the part that was skipped over here) and thus come to Phantom’s attention.Mark Trail – A short cut isn’t always quicker. You may run into a herd of elephants.Gasoline Alley – Can a mule go faster than a train?Judge Parker – Why are they both wearing sunglasses indoors?Mary Worth – Still can’t tell where this is going.
