PHANTOM: We are off to a good start. This guy is a loose cannon.
REX MORGAN: Is Rex going to read the survey?
MARK TRAIL: I get a kick out of Chris. He thinks he’s just going to leave and not have to answer for anything because things didn’t go his way and nobody is on his side. I hope this is over now.
MARY WORTH: Looks like Olive knew what she was talking about.
FUNKY W: See FOXTROT panel 1. (The “ink outage” arc started yesterday, 8/25.)MARY WORTH: It could have been Olive!MARK TRAIL: I think the idiom, “I’m going to pick up my marbles and leave,” applies to Chris’ storming off. PHANTOM: Guy #1 thinks Guy #2 has lost his marbles.
Mark Trail – No. I don’t think Mark is going to let a poacher who tried to murder him just walk away.Judge Parker – Tomorrow we start a whole new boring conversation.Phantom – Man, that’s cold. That is really cold.Rex Morgan – Dean Golden was told to do a job and she’s doing it the best way she knows how.
Rex Morgan – Rex will either confirm or find good reason to dispute the report.Judge Parker – Everyone knows Neddy and thinks she’s beautiful.Mark Trail – If Chris takes the jeep with the rhino horns, the rest would be in a bad situation stranded in the wilds. But Taurus still has the gun.Phantom – "Are you crazy? You can’t just walk down the street and shoot random people! You should do that from a car.
I have an ideer. How about adding some vintage comics to our list to comment on? We can use IloveComix for our source. We might read one daily each day and comment on it here. Comics available free on that site are Alley Oop, Buz Sawyer, Rip Kirby, Terry and the Pirates, and Gasoline Alley.
I am reading Rip Kirby at Comics Kingdom. The original publication date is April, 1955. A new story arc just began and it appears someone is being kidnapped.
@ david and marvee: I’m game (RIP KIRBY)…but I cannot get find Rip Kirby on my usual Comics Kingdom list (jsonline) and I cannot find the IloveComix site. Is is .com, .org or what? Please post actual links.

REX MORGAN: Perhaps Rex will see flaws in the report.
GASOLINE ALLEY: Joel and Rufus are pushing poor Becky to hurry to catch up with the locomotive because they also were promised a ride.
MARY WORTH: Will Mary rush home and inform Olive and her parents about Dr. Kapuht losing his patient due to his drug addiction?

Here’s the link to ”I Love Comix.”
However, the Rip Kirby collection is very limited and they don’t have 1955.
