It’s time to get a bigger bed.

My dog tried that once, it didn’t work for him.

THIS is why Bunk Beds were invented! (as was the ‘roll away bed’) so that dogs could have their own space, and humans could have theirs. (i.e. the top bunk!)

Chipa Ahoy me mateys!

If you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas!

If it itches, scratch it, Crew!

I have that problem with my two cats… By morning, I’m usually diagonal on the bed or barely hanging on the edge, with them taking most of the room…

My back hurts just looking at Cap’n Crow.

How do my cats get under the covers? How does my book land on the floor? Answer to these and other mysteries in upcoming strips. And remember, if you don’t drive a Toyota, your not going forward.

The secret with cats is to lie on your back and have one cat on each side. Just no purple cats, Captain!

Scout stretches out and takes up most of the bed with me as his pillow (not like Louie with his feet in the air). I also am sometimes at the edge of the bed when I wake up in the morning. My cat curls up on the other side of me (or under the covers).

An hour late, Trebor beat me to the 60’s music punch. Kudos.

I guess it just wasn’t a two dog night.
