Smart people are so smart. Ok. When I was a kid, they promised there'd be jetpacks by now. So- where are they? Why aren't I shooting around the open sky? Crowded sky. What? Think about it. Those smart people would love to be up there with you, but would you trust other people with jetpacks? No! They'd go too fast, and text and eat while they fly around! Yep. Fly right into you. Pow. Smart people are so smart that they haven't invented jetpacks. Ok.

The smartest people in the world can’t fight economics. And it’s much more expensive to fly 250 lbs somewhere through the air than it is to roll it there. Most people that have a car can barely afford it.

My personal motto is ‘If you can dream you can achieve it, all you need is the technology to do it.’ and the money for the technology.

They also promised us self-driving cars, and it looks like Cadillac will be there first. So can jet-packs be far behind?

The new promise is our own personal aircraft. Something to take us to & from work. Ease the congestion on the highways. I think more probs with that than with personal jet packs. maybe a cross between a jet pack and the personal aircraft? – thinking Jetsons.
