Got to make a couple visits today. One elderly lady had a stroke, a mild one, thank God. And an elderly man with cancer. And while I’m down there, I’ll print Sunday’s bulletin.
Went to the doctor yesterday, and he said he wants to keep a close eye on the situation, and will see me again in two months. These are good doctors up here!
Gonna be cool today, had to close the windows, it’s only 54 right now, and hopefully we’ll get some rain tonight.
GrandBaby is doing VERY well, she went from 7 lbs. 13 oz. to 8 lbs 8 oz in just over 2 weeks! She loves her Mommy Milk!
Rita, the only reason that “everything” I make seems to turn out well is that I don’t tell you about the other 50%. I like my little triumphs…..
Having lunch today with a friend who is caregiver for her mom. She’s going stir crazy, so I’m getting her out of the house for a little while.
We may have seen the last of triple digits around here for this year. Still mid to high 90’s, but the 10 day forecast shows only 2 digits each day.
We never did get those thunderstorms from Hurricane Odil. He turned East across Northern Mexico and is heading up through Arizona and New Mexico instead of here. He did manage to destroy an orphanage my church is supporting in La Paz, Mexico, though. All kids are accounted for and unhurt, but the building is history.
