I think Ruthie was pretending to eat them but slipping them in her pocket. That’s when you really need a dog under the table.

The “weiner-like things” were probably bratwurst. Can’t explain the fries, though.

Any kind of fries she doesn’t get fed at home

Ruthie is not used to little smokies that can be wrapped in Pillsbury pastry.
