I even get books back after telling people to keep or donate them. We actually donate all books that we buy to the library for their sale. We try to use the library instead of buying as our house has walls of windows instead of shelving. In the middle of the night, we can check out an ebook if we need to start something new. Libraries are happy for monetary or used book donations and most book stores have a cafe you can frequent as well as other gifts to purchase.
