Outstanding! Memories this kind of family back and forth many times from the back seat of a 1953 Pontiac. Coolest thing I remember about that car was the Chief Pontiac hood ornament lit up amber at night.
In today’s comic, how would the kids even know about this cartoon? It hasn’t been on TV for many years.
Grandma wanting to stop and make a phone call is a nice old time touch, although I’m sure that Mom would be happy to hand her a cell phone.
