I was never a Mister Rogers fan (I think it was too late for me and too early for my kids, by the time we had TV). I love the way Ruthie interacts with grandparents. I’ve done much of that too with my 6 grandkids (most are off or finished with college now – jut the last is 11).
Though most would probably see it differently, Ruthie certainly has a point, because you could fairly say that there are people make a career of being a freeloader, a moocher, and a sponge.
