CNN, at least, pretty much balances Israeli military commentary with that of commentary from Hamas. The Israelis had lots of chances to make their point.

There’s plenty of blame on both sides here. But there is no excuse for bombing schools.

Hamas has dug an elaborate system of tunnels in order to kidnap Israelis, but have never used any of them. That seems odd. And you have to admit that, if someone fired across our border, we’d fight back, but, then again, you can’t have a border when you don’t have a country — only an occupied territory under blockade..And, yes, bombing schools does seem like a strange way to wage war, but at least those children have been born. The only time it’s bad to kill children is when they are still in the womb, right, Bob?

Don’t look at the near total destruction of whole neighborhoods of civilian buildings, like homes, in Gaza clearly visible in the photos. Ignore the wounded and dead kids, ‘cause they’re all the fault of “short round” rockets not making it to those empty farm fields in the most part, hit by the ones that do get through “iron dome”.

Ignore the decades of blockades the press very rarely mentions that are the reason for tunnels to bring food and medicine into Gaza.

Ignore the difference between “targets” destroyed by Israel, and number of rockets fired that are ineffectual 99% of the time. There differences that always end up stressing in the end that the most sophisticated military in the Middle East, and nearly the world, must quake in fear of a “terrorist regime” essentially still throwing rocks.

Civil War general William T. Sherman HATED the press! He felt they lied, mis-reported events, and printed military secrets, just to increase sales. He is said to have opined that if he killed all the reporters, there would be news from Hell before breakfast!

So you guys have a theory that, if you find a child molester working in a school, you should blow up the school. Good theory.
