Somewhere in my storage unit, I have my dual book games of “Dragon Riders of Pern” (based on the novels, dragons spitting fire at destructive sky threads that would scorch the land, without hitting your opponent) and “Ace of Aces” (WW1 biplane dogfights where you tried to shoot down your opponent). Basically, both players choose a maneuver (left turn, right turn, straight ahead, u-ey, Immelmann [for AoA]) and turn to the corresponding page number to see the result (new positions plus you or the opponent might get burned by a thread [DRoP], accidentally flamed/purposely shot each other [DRoP/AoA respectively]. I was a champ at both games in college.
