This would actually be a helpful book; there are a lot of people who think escalators are stairs, and keep pushing past those of us who understand that the “stairs” are moving.
I usually take the stairs when they are available; just like I use the stairs frequently instead of an elevator..Unlike the elevator and escalator, you can meet the nicest people on the stairs…
Lesson 2 should be “Step to the side and clear a path for anyone else coming off the escalator”. There seems to be a lot of people convinced that they’re alone on the planet.
