Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for July 18, 2014
Transcript:
Sue: If Marigold and Ringo don't get back soon, we'll actually have to swim. Phoebe: Maybe that's good! That way we'll get placed at our proper skill level, and we won't get in trouble, and... wait, am I the responsible one in this friendship? Sue: I did notice you haven't broken anything since we've been here.

I’ve always been fascinated by this subject——the fact that people have different roles in different relationships. Sometimes they’re the dominant one, other times they’re more the follower, etc. It’s always interesting in cartoons when a character who normally has the more childish role takes on the more adult role when they’re with a certain other character, and vice versa.

The relationship between Rick and his daughter on “Castle” is always fun.
