Don’t think that females are weak. I brought home a cat who had just given birth to 4 kittens. My much larger male cat wandered into the room where moma & babies were and he came flying out of there so fast with moms right on his tail. Fur was flying. To be fair the male cat wasn’t aware of the other cats so was really surprised that he was being attacked. I kept moma and now the male cat tries to dominate both moma and me.
