Reminds me of my son before he began to reach the age of reason. He would endlessly stall on homework, chores, or anything he didn’t want to do, while all the while arguing with me about why he didn’t want to do it and how mean I was being. Eventually I would point out that if he’d just done what I’d asked, he’d have finished hours ago and be a free man. This comment, of course, made him furious. Normal kid stuff, I guess, perfectly portrayed by Mr. McGruder.
