    Seems there haven’t been many food scares lately. There was a romaine lettuce recall a few months ago, but as far as farm animals I don’t think I’ve heard anything.

    Ahh, the reason I can’t give blood. I ate beef in Europe; then came the mad cow outbreak, and along with many others sidelined.

    That’s the problem with our modern times: Mad cow disease could be hiding in our population and nobody would notice it. Doctors can’t tell if you’ve got bovine spongiform encephalopathy or if you’ve been reading too many Trump tweets, ’cause the side effects are the same.
