Back in the day, I didn’t know a thing about Strom Thurmond until the media starting running stories about him being racist. By this time I was a fully functioning and (relatively) social adult. So I’m sure there is a lesson in that as well.

Yeah ole Strom took a break from his obvious distaste for those of the darker hue to sire a daughter with a Black woman. Of course he denied her existence for the majority of his life, although he did provide monetary support for her very quietly in the background.

Good comeback, Caesar. Huey does a lot of hatin’ on black people his own self, for B.E.T. being insufficiently “woke” to “The Revolution,” which won’t be televised because it needs to happen in our psyche.
