Perhaps it might just be better if we stayed entirely away from the insanity of the Middle East. And spent more of the vast sums we spend for our military on good old fashioned police work to keep us safe from their terrorists? Or am I being too rational again?
We could also spend some of that money on our infrastructure (if the do nothing Congress would allow it). After all the terrorists quite probably do not have to expend any effort at all on the destruction of our infrastructure, all they have to do is wait for it to fall apart on its own!!
