Just a note: chickenhawks wanted more support for the rebels fighting Assad, not those SAME rebels are fighting al Malaki, because like many Iraqis, they hate the guy, but the U.S. blessed and kept him a long time ago, so now we’re supposed to support Iraq linking with Iran, and provide them support too??

As Thomas Friedman eloquently said, none of the parties in this war represent our interests, or even the interests of their own citizens. Why would we give them more weapons?
