Parents are being lied to in Central America, sending their kids to a “safer, better, life” in the U.S.. BTW: to get their kids out of danger, a lot of wealthy Brits also sent their kids to the U.S. during WW II. Sometimes parenting has other than OUR traditional definition of “protective”.
