Today’s Calvin and Hobbes strip is from July, 1990. Here’s one from a series that we read two years ago. It was actually published in 1992, two years after the series that we are currently reading. That’s because we are currently reading reruns from Bill Watterson’s second sabbatical. So Calvin and Hobbes visited the Jurassic two years before they visited themselves. The constellations, cool.
The dinosaurs? My early childhood frequent nightmares had to do with dinosaurs and other “monsters.”
Then again, we have Calvin, who is afraid of monsters under his bed, but has control of the dinosaurs in his life.
Go figure.
