Second grade for me. It was a sneeze that I couldn’t fight off combined with a cough that finally triggered the sneeze. The class died laughing and the teacher asked if I did it deliberately.

What I don’t get is what chewing has to do with any of this. With her mouth wide open like that for the first three frames, she could not have been chewing. And what would she have been trying to achieve with chewing anyway? Is there some theory that it is supposed to help studying?

When we were in elementary school, it was all the vogue to be able to burp the alphabet; you were considered extraordinary if you did it in one breath.

Some kids move their lips when they read, but I can’t believe one just sitting with her mouth open wouldn’t be sent to the school nurse to check for breathing problems.
