I will agree that two wrongs do not make a right. The question is do we let Mr. Sterling slide while not taking Mr. Sharpton to task, or should we repudiate Mr. Sterling and also go after Mr. Sharpton? I recommend the latter.
Except that he is still a rich pig….who now has to buy a ticket to see his own team play basketball. What a remarkable joke…but people will still send him money to go to games.
About that “cruel and unusual punishment” or seizure of property without due cause; what the guy did in this last case was NOT a criminal offense, no matter how stupid and offensive. Political incorrectness is not, per se, a crime, and speech, no matter how vile if not inciting riot or revolution, is also not a crime. Bundy’s little speeches and his followers actions WERE based on CRIMES, yet he still skates?
