I was once a video arcade technician. After seeing kids with the quarter-feeding-frenzie syndrome, I always wanted to make a machine that took your quarter and just lit up a “thank you” sign. It probably would have made as much money as the others.
This would be funnier if it weren’t so true. It is a part of human nature to “throw good money after bad.” Some people just don’t know when to pull the plug on a venture and cut their losses.
