Hey! A White Sox fan! Go Sox! Cool panel. He’s a lot of fun to watch!

Time to wind up the last strip and hope I don’t have to do the same thing on this one.

He’d make a good cop. He definitely has the long arm of the law.

He makes the wind-up and lets loose. Unfortunately, he forgot to let go of the ball. He is now headed to the outfield in a line drive.

Oh no. Lucy is out there. She doesn’t see him headed her way. He landed behind her and startled her. Oh, is she yelling at him.

His name is Larry. He doesn’t like to have Lucy yell at him, but he knows who the boss is and it ain’t Larry.

Lucy has finished yelling at Larry. He is now heading back to the pitcher’s mound. Charlie Brown knows better than to say anything with Lucy in listening range.

Larry is back on the mound. He winds up, he throws. Again, he forgets to let go of the ball. Lucy hangs her head and sighs.

And out comes Larry, again. This time, Lucy is ready. Oooo, what’s that on the ground? She hears a thud behind her. Larry is about to get another lecture.

Larry sees Lucy stomping up to him. He looks to Charlie Brown for help. For some reason, Charlie Brown is looking the other way.

Larry makes the first move. He kisses Lucy on the cheek. Lucy screams. “ARRGGHHHH, COOTIES, COOTIES”.

Larry walks back to the mound. A smile on his face. Snoopy is rolling on the ground, laughing.

Lucy sees Snoopy laughing. She is not amused. She doesn’t know what to do, now. She has Cooties and can’t wipe them off.

Lucy has an idea. If she can’t get rid of the Cooties, she’ll give them back. Larry winds up. The pitch. Oh no, here he comes again.

The batter has hit the ball so hard that Larry let loose of it. Lucy is so stunned that she holds up her glove and the ball goes right in the glove. She is so shocked that she drops the ball. She just looks at it.

Charlie Brown has been waiting for this moment for years. He walks up to Lucy and says “You blockhead”. For the first time in his life, he is on top.

Charlie Brown heads back to the dugout. Larry makes one more pitch. It’s a hit. Directly to Lucy who was looking at the back of her glove. The ball enters her glove. The batter is out. For the first time ever, Charlie Brown’s team has won a game. They carry Lucy off the field in victory..The end.

Carl, you know Sale got hurt immediately after you posted this and he hasn’t pitched since. Take it down!!!!!!
