… let them stand undisturbed as monuments of the safety with which error of opinion may be tolerated, where reason is left free to combat it.
Kinda like the “Remember New Hampshire” signs hat floated around during the presidential campaign. Dub’ya wrote the book on how not to do the presidency. Still, that book can be a handy reference.
