The premise of this one is way off base, though. I’m in middle schools and high schools a lot. Actually those damn kids these days enjoy and respect almost all former fashion, music, movies, etc. The most popular band among kids are the Beatles…..They have Yes on their devices. They love old movies… Frank and The Rat Pack are as cool as ever….They are so unjudgemental it’s almost scary….They have their own things going on of course….But they aren’t an either/or kind of breed. If it was good, they like it.

@varnes With all due respect, I think you ve missed the point of this strip. It’s the folks who get older and think everything art, music, films. Was better when they were younger. I’m in my 40/0s and I’ve heard people say they’ll never bet better music than what came out in the 60s and 70s. Are you kidding? It’s almost like they’re patting themselves on the back for having been around when it came out. Sorry typed on my phone.

tinachambers: Of course the past they remember were better; the turkeys have been forgotten (unless memorably bad). We just haven’t had time to forget today’s turkeys yet, but will in time.
