Implementation of Medicare Part D by the Republicans had similar rollout, implementation glitches and amendments as the ACA. The difference is that there was not one party working non-stop to make it fail.
The President didn’t propose anything here, he just declared it so instead of the lawful means of going to Congress and having them change the law. If you can’t see the difference now, you will when eventually a president you don’t like tries something similar.I will also point out that at this point, pretty much everything that Republicans asked for when the government was shut down last year has been done by the president now that reality has forced him to. Too bad the Democrats wanted to have a shutdown to blame on Republicans instead of doing things that needed to be done in the proper way.
Lisa, you are dead center correct.Obama does think “it’s working perfectly” because his hidden agenda was to sign an impossible HCare bill for the express purpose of enraging citizens who would then call for the desired “single payer plan”….(Federal Government the single payer….and single Taxer….and the single decider and chooser and dictator)…
“……Don’t let facts get in your way. They aren’t complaining that it is pushed back, they are complaining about the numerous illegal “rulings” that Obama is making…..”.Your statement is a contradiction. “They” ARE complaining that the sign-up date is being pushed back and that doing so is an illegal ruling. What is illegal about allowing for more time for the pipeline of applicants to clear out? For Medicare Part D, Bush extended the sign-up deadline from May to December. Where were the accusations of illegal ruling at that time? There were none. The objective is to allow people sufficient time to sign up and benefit from the program.
America ranks 51st in the world for average life expectancy (1st if you are a member of the one percent) and 33rd in the world for infant mortality. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that millions don’t have medical insurance because they cannot afford it. The ACA might actually do some good with regards to this situation.

We should all stop paying for health insurance until we get really sick, then just sign up for the taxpayer funded plan.

The pendulum is an anchor. Terrific symbolism.

What’s your plan for affordable health care, Lisa? I’d like to hear it. Or do you just spread hate and ignorance?
