Don’t like Putin much, but it is interesting that it was the “mafia” that grew the fastest in the Russian economy when they began to go “capitalist”. Kinda’ like Wall Street here? (My brother-in-law who retired from B of A in a high position, he noted the company was no longer recognizable after the “Reaganomics” changes to banking, said the banks had become nothing but a legalized mafia.)
