It’s okay to know but don’t let others know you know, you know?

I’m kind of with Sunny, there. It can get a bit tiresome to hear someone going around belaboring the obvious.

If you deflate what someone has learned by saying “I know” every time they share – you’re stealing the joy of learning from them. Stop it.

I once had a secretary who would always answer dismissively with “I know” or something similar. Problem was, she didn’t. She ended up with every letter from any client in a file called “Letters”, or simply on the desktop, with no folder structure. What a mess. Saying “I know” doesn’t make it true. often it’s simply an avoidance technique.

This is a good way to look at things. What good people say and do, this is how people should be like!
