My cat stops chasing the dot after about a minute, and thereafter just sits watches my hand.
I remember an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where a laser dot left a big trench across North America.
Those cats are well armed.
Command will make light of this.
Perhaps it’s a lazer-guided scope? That would definitely perpetuate the problem. “We’re all out of ammo!”
