Today the comments are better than the strip. Which is saying something because usually Darby is a genius.

Darby is remarkable; this strip manages to mock not only psychics but any study that depends upon human or natural phenomena for predictive purposes. ESP exists, but it’s generally ungovernable, just like the weather. The universe just carries on without much regard for our wishes.
