What’s interesting here is the role reversal. In most strips they’d have the wife going to the ballet, and the husband taking in a movie.

I know a gentleman who, when asked what the secret was to he and his wife maintaining a happy marriage for so long, replied that usually, they were never at home at the same time.

The wife enjoys time away from the husband
