Just like industry that downsizes they should do that to politicians. Granted some are good and others are deadwood.Many politicians should be voted out or fired.
Just to address one point of your post: “…that GNP was produced by working people”? Where did you pick up such Marxist economics? There is no end of workers in the poorest nations, but without rule of law protecting property rights encouraging investment, they remain poor. Then when they improve their politics even a little, their economies take off, as with China, India, and most of the former Iron Curtain states. As for the supposed 1%-99% meme, that too is straight out of Marx who thought the rich got rich by impoverishing the poor. But what did the poor ever have to steal in the first place? It’s all just an expression of envy and hatred of success.

I thought this was a nicely-done, non-partisan jab at our public servants…shoulda known, some folks (looks like mostly Conservatives) just can’t let that happen.
