You had BETTER find death funny. Otherwise, you’ll be wasting your last moments moaning and running in circles. The joke is that, after the long build-up to a big finish, it’s nothing but a simple light switch turned off. Poof! And what comedian ever said, “Wow, I kept them all alive out there.” No. It’s, “Wow, I killed!” And death is kind of the perfect joke. It’s funniest when it’s on the people who least accepted total extinction. Too bad they can’t hear you laugh. So, cheer up. No matter how bad it gets, you’re still in for the greatest joke ever. .Of course, with these guys throwing skills, this guy might die of old age. (The most tasteless – and therefore funniest – execution joke was the warden making the guy in the chair hold a piece of bread in each hand.)
Perhaps it’s a comment on the problems certain states are having getting the drugs needed for their “humane” executions. Executions have become a crap shoot for both state and prisoner.
Since nobody is getting the “joke”, it’s on the prisoner. He can see the number of balls, thinking he gets a reprieve, if none hit the target. What he doesn’t know is that the target isn’t even connected to live wires. After the last ball is thrown, someone in the other room flips the switch.
Sadly, none of the opponents seem to worry about the ‘cruel and unusual punishment’ inflicted upon the victims of these criminals. All they seem to do is worry about the perpetrator. Classic case of misplaced concern. Again, how about some concern for the unwilling victims?

A sad attempt to use humor for a controversial subject!
