Lesson #347 in ‘How to Make a Child Cry’. We had a corner in our back yard that was the ‘Small Pet Cemetery’. Even let me make little popsicle stick crosses. When they disappeared prior to lawn-mowing, Dad said, “We had a wind storm last night.” My parents were kind, that way.
