Ziggy should eat out less.

It’s because he didn’t tip the lavatory attendant. :)

In Germany we were told “you pay to pee in Germany”! They usually had someone standing at the door collecting small sum to enter.

…and the extra 2 cents on the table is your tip!

I’d be in a whole lotta trouble.

I might pee in the glass and tell you to go to AND stay put.

Most places in Europe, I’m told, charge to use the restroom. Sad state of affairs!

Ziggy dude what kind of restaurants do you go to..I leave right away and spread the word.

They used to charge at many places in the United Stated, also. You had to insert a dime in order to open the door to a stall. Then the Fed passed a law that at least one stall had to be free for anyone who didn’t have change. As they say, “the rest is history.”

They used to charge in the ladies room in the US — it was deemed discriminatory and that’s the only reason it was stopped. They know what will happen if they try to charge men. And — don’t give the airlines any ideas.

That’s why we say “spend a penny” when we want to go. That’s how much we had to put in the door in England and Australia.
