Obama’s only used to lobbed softball questions. He didn’t know how to handle real questions. All Obama knows how to do is divert blame. Or deny. Deny. Deny!
When one looks at how Fox interviews Republicans, and especially when they interviewed Mr. Bush, and compares it to how they interview Mr. Obama, it would be disingenuous to say they treated the former President with the same ‘probing intensity" they have the current one.Fox never interrupted Mr. Bush, and frankly, never challenged him on any issues. This does not surprise me. Fox has shown itself to be a lobbying arm for Republicans willing to carry water on behalf of the Murdoch agenda and there is ample video of Fox journalists being outraged at a Democratic action that is vehemently defended when the same actions are done by Republicans. MSNBC is also guilty of this, but not to the degree or volume of Fox. You don’t have to believe me, the proof is in thousands of video collages put together by the Daily Show that are in context and on point. Mr. Stewart may be a comedian, but in his satire, he proves that Fox is neither Fair, nor Balanced. MSNBC is simply inadequately trying to counter Fox’s own hypocrisies, and in doing so, drags our confidence in news programming further into the mud already provided by Fox.Respectfully,C.
The mind boggles at how long FOX News and the conservatives can keep the narrative alive about whether it was or was not a terrorist attack. When Germany attacked Britain in WW2, was it a terrorist attack? And vice versa. There was certainly terror. Who cares what label you attach to it. Similarly Benghazi – just call it an enemy attack and get on with more important things. I thought Obama’s reply covered it rather well.
Another point they can’t get over is whether Kathleen Sebelius should have been fired, or held accountable as they like to say. I guess if she should have been fired, then the entire NASA team of scientists and engineers should have been fired when the Challenger blew up for design flaws. Progress comes from trying big ideas, occasionally failing, and having to go back and tweak or redesign, not from hyper nit-picking every step along the learning curve.
yes we do know the score. Actually, I am a college professor who teaches policy, politics and leadership. I happen to be an Independent, A DAR and I have a strong dislike for the current administration. O has managed to take away so many of our hard fought for rights! In addition, my social security is not a government gift to me. I paid dearly into it and I am required to pay taxes on what I get each year.
Gypsie raises a significant issue actually: EVERY engineer, including those from Hercules who built the solid boosters, told NASA NOT TO LAUNCH CHALLENGER until the weather, and those neoprene seals, warmed up.(It wasn’t actually a “design flaw” if the owner’s manual had been followed!) One of Reagan’s POLITICAL APPOINTEES told them Reagan wanted a launch of “his” teacher on time, so the idiot ordered the launch.
Many, many, stupid decisions in government, AND in industry, are made by brown-nosing climbers, and appointees (Heckofajob Brownie) who shouldn’t be alllowed to make decisions, as they have to wear slip-ons as they haven’t figured out the complexity of tying shoes.
Today’s "media’, Fox, and yes even some of the MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC “on screen” folks, and their writers, are “presenting” for folks who may be barefoot because they lack the intellect for flip flops.
Too funny when libs like you try to compare Social Security to Welfare. You see, one is a forced retirement savings where big daddy government decided it should hold onto a percentage of every workers paycheck and then give it back at retirement age.Welfare and Food Stamps are just the government taking money from one person and giving it to another.Got it?
I watched Chris Wallace interview Bill Clinton on Fox. He tapped Mr. Clinton on the knee, while asking this question: “Why didn’t you do more to stop bin Ladin?”
And that’s when I decided: when ANY Fox personality interviews Dubya, and asks the same question, then and only then will I believe that Fox News is Fair and Balanced.
And regarding the post from Respectful Troll: you said it better than I could have. Thank you.
>Obama: “I compare Welfare to the G.I. Bill”>Faux News: “Obama compares the G.I. Bill to Welfare.”Keep in mind that Obama thinks that Welfare is the Holy Grail. G.I. Bill does not suffer from this comparison. Perhaps “Faux” News was just being nice to the President.

The amazing extent of Fox News deception is evident: Fox News viewers actually don’t even know the score.

Fox Commentary is not fair and balanced.Fox News reporting is reasonably fair and balanced. More so than most of the other U.S. media.
