I never understood it: isn’t the groundhog sure to see his shadow with all those flashbulbs and TV camera lights out there? This was a VERY serious question I had growing up, and NO ONE ANSWERED it – they thought I was being “cute.”

I always hoped he would see his shadow, limiting winter to only 6 more weeks.
