They won’t be happy until they own all of it, the earth destroyed and the rest of us are dead. Only then, they will realize that you can’t eat or drink money.

Not slaves; low-paid employees. You have to take some minimal care of slaves. Employees have to take care of themselves.

The truth is still interesting, but less impressive. It’s not true that 85 people own half of the world’s wealth. It’s that the 85 people own as much wealth as the 50% of the world’s poorest people. Not even “as much wealth as the 50% of the world’s poorest people”. They own as much as the lowest 50% of the world’s population. Big difference.
